PTFA at St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School

We have a small and very hard working Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) at St John’s. We work together to generate funds which provide fun and engaging activities for the children in our school.

We generally meet once a half term, to organise a variety of events. We are a friendly group ranging from stay at home mums to those who work full time who do whatever they can to provide more for all the children that attend the school. We are always looking for volunteers to attend meetings, help organise events, or just to help us out on the day. Please contact any member of staff at school if you would like to offer your time to help out.

Money we have raised has provided a range of opportunities. Here are just some of them:

• A pantomime at Christmas
• A visiting animal man
• A whole school trip to the sea side
